We are centered in the small town of Lebanon Missouri, one of the jumping off points to the Northern Ozarks, as well as the central Missouri Lake country. Residents will be housed in local hotels, rental cabins, or provided bed & breakfast type accommodations with local sponsoring artists.
The Ozarks Art Residency Program provides a variety of studio and workspace for the visiting artists. The primary space is at the Lebanon Art Guild and Gallery. Here you can find expansive open work areas, large easels, worktables, kitchen and office space, lounge area, and art library. Equipment includes a 55 inch monitor w/blu ray player, a variety of studio lighting equipment, a commercial matte cutter, large photo printer, even an upright piano. The program can also provide access to other types of studios and equipment depending on the needs of the artist.
Transportation - We will provide transportation from either St. Louis or Springfield MO if needed. There is an Enterprise location in Lebanon if you want to rent your own vehicle, but we are happy to provide daily basic shuttle-type service for you, as well as area tours and sightseeing. Bicycles are available for use as well.
Meals - provided. May vary depending on lodging arrangements/location, etc. but expect a lighter, continental style breakfast, packable box style lunch, and a homestyle or restaurant type dinner.
